About ANIU WORLD
ANIU WORLD is a free platformer you play in a browser tab. You are Aniu, a little bull with a square head and a visor that can read tomorrow, and somebody has hidden tomorrow. You go and look for it: through tea terraces, a bamboo grove, the lanterns on West Lake and the streets along the canal.
You can play alone or with a friend: two of you on one keyboard, or online, where one sends a link and the other lands in the same level. There is no game over, and an easier mode for anyone who wants it. How two players works.
It runs on a computer, a phone or a tablet, with a keyboard, a controller or touch, in English, Chinese, Spanish and Japanese. 2 chapters are out, each about an hour long, and more are being made.
Free, and nothing asked of you
No price, no ads, no sign-up, nothing to install, nothing to buy. Your progress is saved in your own browser and nowhere else.
What we count. No tracking script runs in the game or on this site, and no cookie is set for visitors. Our own server counts three things: how many times the game’s page is opened, which levels’ music files are asked for (that tells us how far into the game people get), and how many two-player rooms are made. That is all: no names, no addresses, nothing about you, and nothing extra sent by the game.
Who makes it, and how
ANIU WORLD is made by a very small crew working with Claude, Anthropic’s AI. Claude writes most of the code, the levels, the music and the tools. People play every chapter and send back lists of what is wrong or simply not fun, and each list is worked through before the next chapter ships.
The world, the music and the sound effects are made in code. Aniu’s 3D model started as an export from Meshy, an AI model generator, rigged with Mixamo.
A fan-made game
Aniu (A-Niu, 阿牛) is the mascot of Alibaba.com. This game is a fan-made tribute. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Alibaba Group, and nothing here is for sale.

Streaming, videos and fan work
Stream it, record it, clip it, draw it, translate it, and monetise your own videos. We will never claim a video. The soundtrack is original and is not registered with any content-matching system, so it is safe to stream.
Please do not sell merchandise of Aniu, or use him or the game to advertise a product: the character is not ours to license. Our own music and levels are free to use in non-commercial fan work, with credit.
