Privacy

Last updated 21 October 2026.

Short version: ANIU WORLD does not know who you are. There is no account, no tracking script, no advertising and no cookie for visitors. Here is everything that is kept, and where.

On your own device

Your save. Progress, settings and collectibles are kept in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing the site’s data in your browser deletes them.

The offline copy. After the title screen the game may store a copy of its own files in your browser, so it still opens without a connection. Settings shows how far it has got, and clearing the site’s data removes it.

On our server

Counts. Our server adds 1 to a daily number when the game’s page is opened (grouped by the kind of place the link came from, such as X, a search engine or a chat), when a level’s music file is fetched (that shows how far players get), and when a two-player room is made, joined, and played in for five minutes. Only the totals are kept. No address, no device details, nothing that could point back to you.

Two players online. When you play with a friend online, our server passes each player’s moves to the other. The room lives only in the server’s memory while you play and for 15 minutes after, so a dropped connection can come back. Nothing about the players is written down.

Weekly score boards. Nothing is sent unless you press “Post my score”. Then the board keeps your score and a random key your device made for itself; the name shown is made from that key, never typed by anyone. To stop floods, the server keeps a scrambled tag of your internet address for one minute. Boards stay readable after their week ends.

Our host. The site runs on Vercel, and the counts and boards are stored with Upstash. Like any web host, Vercel keeps ordinary request logs for a short time to run and protect the service. We do not use them to identify anyone.

Team pages. A few pages are for the people who make the game. Signing in to them sets one cookie on that person’s browser. Players never see these pages.

Google, YouTube, Instagram and X

We post our own videos and pictures to the ANIU WORLD accounts on YouTube, Instagram and X. To do that, our posting tool is connected to our own accounts: on YouTube it may only upload videos to the ANIU WORLD channel. It never asks for, sees or keeps anything from a player’s or viewer’s account.

ANIU WORLD’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Videos on YouTube are covered by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. The channel owner can remove our tool’s access at any time from the Google account’s third-party access page.

When you open one of our profiles or posts, you are on that platform, and its own privacy policy applies.

Children

The game is for everyone. Because it collects nothing personal, there is nothing about a child to keep, share or delete.

Changes and questions

If what we keep ever changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top. Questions: @aniudotworld on X.
